Privacy at ThenPath.

Information you provide

When you subscribe, ThenPath collects your email address, an optional first name, the page where you subscribed, and a record of your consent.

We use this information to provide the Weekly Rhyme and other ThenPath updates you request.

When you use the Contact form, ThenPath collects the name you provide, your email address, and your message. This information is used to respond to your inquiry and does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

How information is handled

ThenPath does not sell subscriber information.

Subscriber records are currently stored in Cloudflare D1 as part of the site's hosting infrastructure.

Contact submissions are sent through Resend, which processes the submitted contact information to deliver the message to ThenPath. ThenPath does not create a separate Contact database in this workflow.

Analytics and tracking

With your permission, ThenPath uses PostHog for limited product analytics. This helps us understand which pages and Weekly Rhymes people find useful and whether site features such as sharing and newsletter signup are working.

The analytics information may include the page or path viewed, referring page, standard UTM campaign parameters, an anonymous browser identifier, timestamps, and limited interactions such as meaningfully viewing a Rhyme or its historical continuation, opening or using the share controls, completing a newsletter signup, or successfully submitting the Contact form.

ThenPath does not send subscriber or Contact email addresses, names, consent text, messages, or form contents to PostHog. ThenPath does not use PostHog Session Replay, advertising pixels, or cross-site advertising profiles.

If you allow analytics, PostHog uses first-party browser storage and a cookie to retain an anonymous identifier and session information. This lets ThenPath understand anonymous return visits. Before you choose, or if you decline, ThenPath does not send PostHog analytics events or establish PostHog analytics persistence. The site stores your analytics choice locally so it can respect that choice.

Market data

ThenPath uses market-price data to calculate and display historical comparisons. This market data is not connected to individual visitors.

Your choices

You can allow or decline analytics below and change your choice later. Declining after previously allowing analytics stops future collection and removes PostHog analytics persistence from this browser.

Marketing email delivery and an unsubscribe mechanism are not yet enabled. Before ThenPath sends marketing email, each message will include a way to unsubscribe.

You may use the Contact page to request removal of your subscriber record.

Changes to this notice

ThenPath may update this notice as the product evolves, including when new analytics, advertising, email, or other service providers are introduced.

Material changes to how visitor or subscriber information is handled should be reflected here before or when those changes take effect.
